Mira Sorvino recently met the press ahead of her turn in Chicago which begins this month. As BroadwayWorld previously reported, Chicago will welcome Academy Award winner Mira Sorvino in the role of “Roxie Hart” beginning Monday, September 15, 2025 at the Ambassador Theatre. She will continue performances through Sunday, November 2, 2025.

On his first night as Billy Flynn in Chicago this summer, Tam Mutu eased onto the Ambassador Theatre stage surrounded by those now-famous massive feathers, singing of love while subtly winking at money. It was a fitting entrance for a Brit now starring as Broadway’s quintessential American showman—one whose razzle dazzle hides a darker edge. Forget about painting the town. Susan Goulet, House Electrician for Chicago, is painting the alley. With the help of a few cast members at the Ambassador Theatre and the permission of the Shubert Organization, she has revamped the alleyway that leads from 49th Street to the stage door, filling the brick walls with names from the revival’s almost-30 years on Broadway.
